Police have reported that a man from Huron County is facing charges for not following probation orders after an attempted robbery at a store in Wingham.
According to OPP, earlier this month on March 8th, a store owner on Josephine Street called to report the incident.
A man, who seemed to have a weapon, entered the store, handed a note to the owner, and demanded money.
The owner informed the suspect that there was no cash, the man left and Police identified the man and arrested him three days later after evidence linked to the attempted robbery was discovered in the man’s home.
The 36-year-old man is charged with robbery and seven counts of breaking probation.
