Huron County OPP were called to a the scene of a situation involving partners in the Town of Goderich.
After the investigation in late February, OPP found that the suspect had allegedly committed criminal acts against their partner.
A 28-year-old person from Goderich has been charged under the Criminal Code, with multiple charges.
The accused went through processing, was held for a bail hearing, and later released from custody. They have a court date scheduled for the Goderich Ontario Court of Justice at a later time.
