Huron County OPP conducted a RIDE check on Bronson Line in South Huron on March 15th, that has resulted in charges.
During the check, officers noticed a vehicle trying to avoid the check. They stopped the vehicle and the driver who was under the influence was then taken to the Huron County OPP Detachment for testing.
A 36-year-old from Middlesex County, was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich on April 29, 2024.
Drivers are reminded that it’s never safe to drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If you suspect someone is driving impaired, call 9-1-1 immediately to report it.
