Uniting businesses, municipal partners, and not-for-profits under one roof, The County of Huron is hosting the first-ever THRIVE Summit.
Vicki Lass, Director of Economic Development for the County of Huron, says that the Summit aims to bridge the gap between global expertise and local challenges by bringing in world-class speakers while also delving into the specific needs and successes of the Huron County community.
One key aspect of the summit is its inclusivity. Recognizing the diverse economic landscapes within Huron County, organizers have curated a program that caters to various interests and sectors – with a variety of challenges in the landscape, Lass says that creativity is key.
From discussions on business transition between generations to panels on tourism, diversity and community economic development, attendees will have ample opportunities to engage with topics that matter most to them.
What sets the Thrive Summit apart is its focus on collaboration and innovation, as well as it’s all encompassing, conversational approach.
Rather than dictating solutions, the summit aims to foster dialogue among stakeholders, encouraging them to share their experiences and insights.
With keynote addresses and breakout sessions, attendees can expect a wealth of knowledge and practical strategies to apply to their own work – creating the opportunity for professional development, right in your own backyard.
The THRIVE Summit is set to take place on May 14th and 15th at Blyth Memorial Hall – for those interested in attending, registration is simple and affordable, with options for single-day or two-day passes available. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect, learn, and thrive with the County of Huron.
