The Team at Reid’s McDonalds in Exeter, Goderich, Grand Bend, Kincardine, Mitchell, and Wingham far exceeded their $40,000 goal at this year’s McHappy day (on May 8th), raising almost $60,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Franchise owner Rob Reid, expressed profound gratitude for the overwhelming response.
He said that his team’s tireless dedication and the enthusiastic participation of volunteers made McHappy Day 2024 the most memorable one yet.

Reid’s appreciation extended to everyone involved, from staff to sponsors to community members who came out to support the cause. Their contributions directly impacted families in need, allowing Ronald McDonald House Southwestern Ontario to serve even more individuals during challenging times – he issued a thank you on behalf of himself and his wife.
As the day came to a close, a total amount of $59,453.98 spoke volumes as to the community’s generosity.
