A drug overdose death that occurred in Huron County has led to two individuals being charged.
The incident on September 13th 2023 in Central Huron, led to the death of a 19-year-old male.
The investigation has resulted in charges against Sylvia Scozynski, a 21-year-old from Kitchener, and Jordan Da-Silva Roach, a 29-year-old from Waterloo.
Scozynski faces a series of charges including possession and trafficking of cocaine and opioids, and possession of prohibited devices or ammunition. She has been released from custody and is slated to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich on June 14.
Jordan Da-Silva Roach has been charged with trafficking in both opioids and cocaine, and was detained pending a bail hearing.
Authorities urge anyone with information about this incident to contact the OPP or their local police.
