A St. Mary’s teen was definitely in hot water with mom and dad following a traffic stop in Lucan over the weekend.
On Saturday night around 10:30, a phone call alerted OPP to a possible impaired driver on Elginfield Road. A subsequent traffic stop saw a 17-year-old St. Mary’s resident charged with a long list of infractions, including dangerous and impaired operation, resisting a peace officer, and open alcohol in the vehicle.
The accused cannot be identified due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act, but will stand in court to answer to the charges.
