After months of fundraising and planning…there’s a NEW TRAIL in our region.
Roger Lewington is a Volunteer with Bayfield Trails and the Huron Land Trust Conservancy. He tells us more about it.
Lewington tells us about some of the dignitaries who’ve supported the new walkway.
Bluewater Mayor Paul Klopp was also on hand for the announcement on Friday afternoon.
There’s an event coming up on Canada Day which will feature the new trail. Lewington says it’s a great addition.

Over the past number of years a quarter of a million dollars was raised to purchase the property and complete the walkway under the bridge.
