Thousands of workers at the Liquor Control Board of Ontario are now on strike.
A strike deadline set by the Ontario Public Service Employees Union originally set for 12:01 a.m. last night, came and went without a deal.
The LCBO says its disappointed with the OPSEU leadership for initiating their first strike in history.
All locations are now closed for 14 days but online ordering and free home delivery service is still available.
In the meantime, customers will be able to shop at roughly 2,300 private retail shops.
