More than $1.8 million in funding has been awarded to Lambton College to support important research projects focused on energy storage and waste valorization.
One of the projects will explore new battery technologies, aiming to improve how we store energy. The other project will focus on waste valorization, which is about finding better ways to manage and reduce waste, turning it into something useful.
This funding is part of a larger grant from the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) Fund. In total, the CFI has distributed over $18 million to 21 colleges and learning institutions across Canada to support various research initiatives.
