A recent investigation by the Huron-Perth OPP Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU), Elgin-Middlesex CSCU, West Region OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), and London Police Service Emergency Response Unit (ERU) led to the seizure of illegal drugs, a firearm, cash, and related items, worth over $22,700.
The investigation started in March 2024 in Huron County and led to a suspect in London.
On July 9th, a search in London resulted in the seizure of drugs, money, a firearm, ammunition, brass knuckles, and other items. Two people were arrested and charged.
Police seized methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine, with an estimated value of $18,790. They also seized a digital scale, packaging materials, cell phones, stolen vehicle license plates, and $1,470 in cash. The seized property is worth about $2,500.
A 22 year old from London, faces charges including:
Unauthorized possession of a restricted firearm
Careless storage of a firearm
Possession of methamphetamine
Possession of fentanyl and cocaine for trafficking
Unauthorized possession of brass knuckles
Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
Another 22 year old from London, faces similar charges:

Both were processed, held for bail hearings, and remain in custody, with court appearances scheduled in the London Ontario Court of Justice.
