On Monday, August 12th at 6:30 p.m., Bluewater Council will hold a public meeting at the Stanley Community Centre in Varna, in a hybrid format, allowing for both electronic and in-person attendance.
The meeting will discuss a zoning by-law amendment (Application No. Z02-2024) that aims to update various parts of the Bluewater Zoning By-law, including rules about building, entrances, manufactured homes, trailers, accessory structures, defined terms, and vending from a vehicle. There are two options for changes to trailer regulations: one that limits the size of additions and another that prohibits them.
Another meeting will discuss a Minor Variance application for 71223 Anne Street (Application No. MV02-2024) where the application seeks to allow an attached garage closer to the rear yard property line than currently permitted. The proposed garage would be 1.36 meters from the rear property line, while the by-law requires a minimum of 7.5 meters.
Additionally, a meeting will address a Minor Variance application for 11 John Avenue, Bayfield (Application No. MV03-2024). This application aims to allow higher than permitted zone coverage for constructing accessory structures.
Comments, questions, or concerns about these applications should be sent before July 24th, 2024, to the Huron County Planning Department or Planning Coordinator, Lindsay Whalen. Meetings will be held in person with electronic attendance options. Contact Planning Coordinator Lindsay Whalen for more details
