The Huron County OPP is investigating a crash where a pickup truck hit a house in Zurich, Municipality of Bluewater, causing a lot of damage to the home on Goshen Street North.
The crash happened on Monday, August 12th, at 5:20 p.m. Emergency services found that the truck had gone off the road and crashed into a single-family home. Luckily, no one was home at the time. The driver, a 42-year-old from Greely, Ontario, was not hurt. Alcohol was involved, and the cause of the crash is being looked into.
The driver has been charged with Careless Driving under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.
