Join us for a variety of activities to enhance all areas of your child’s development, connect with our staff and other families, and end the group with a circle time of songs and a story. - Play & Learn at the Park! – Wingham @ 10:00 am – 11:30 am. Join Huron EarlyON at the park at the corner of William St. and John St. as we take our regular Play and Learn programming outdoors! We still have the regular Play & Learn each Friday morning at the Alice Munro Branch with free programs designed for parents/caregivers and children from birth to six years old. Enjoy age-appropriate activities, discover answers to questions on child development, find information about programs and services that are available for young children and families in their area, and talk to EarlyON Professionals, as well as other parents and caregivers in the community. - Virtual Reality Free Play – Goderich @ 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Discover the Huron County Library’s exciting new Virtual Reality headset by booking a session at the Goderich Branch today! Participants can dive into the action with games like Beat Saber, explore the globe through immersive travel experiences, enjoy a relaxing round of mini golf, meditate in serene virtual environments, and so much more! - Annual Flower Show & Toonie Cafe @ 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Clinton Horticultural Society’s Annual Flower Show & Toonie Cafe will be held on August 23, 2024 from 2pm until 5pm at the Clinton Legion (95 Kirk St.). Harpists will be present for your enjoyment.
- Movie Night in Victoria Park @ 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm. Everyone is invited to join Bethel’s movie night in Victoria Park! Bring a lawn chair and a blanket in case it’s chilly. Participants will learn through real-world tasks over a 13-week course. Note: This program is not affiliated with the Centre for Employment & Learning or the Avon Maitland District School Board.
