The Avon Maitland District School Board (AMDSB) is excited to welcome Riley Culhane as the new Superintendent of Education. Riley will start on September 1st, taking over from April Smith, who is leaving at the end of August. Riley will lead the K to 12 Program Department and manage the schools that April supported.
Riley has 11 years of senior leadership experience, most recently with the Thames Valley District School Board (TVDSB). He has also worked as an elementary school administrator and teacher. Before joining TVDSB in 2000, Riley was a Speech-Language Pathologist and Child and Youth Worker. He is committed to working with all groups to provide students with the tools and resources they need to achieve their goals. He is excited to join the AMDSB team.
