Huron County OPP has charged a 36-year-old man from Huron East with impaired driving after a traffic complaint on August 15th in Central Huron.
Around 9:00 p.m. that evening, someone reported to the police about a driver who might be impaired. Officers found the vehicle on Base Line in Central Huron, stopped it, and determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol.
The driver was arrested and taken to the Huron OPP detachment in Clinton, where breath tests showed he was over the legal alcohol limit. He was charged with impaired driving, and his vehicle was impounded for seven days. His driver’s license was also suspended for 90 days.
