The Goderich Salt & Harvest Festival is back this weekend running, August 30th- September 2nd. This festival is dedicated to celebrating the town’s deep connection to the salt industry and its agricultural heritage. Jenna Ujiye, Tourism and Community Development Manager says there will be lots to do throughout the weekend.

Additionally, there are food trucks offering a wide variety of meals and snacks, a beer garden for those looking to relax, and plenty of kid-friendly activities like face painting and interactive displays.
Ujiye says the event started as a way to draw attention to the rich history of Goderich.
