- EarlyON Seaforth: Join us for a free indoor event at Northside United Church, Seaforth, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. It’s designed for parents and caregivers with children aged 0-6. Enjoy play-based activities, interactive songs, and connect with other families. Look for the EarlyON sign near the entrance; if the door is locked, ring the doorbell.
- Police Storytime in Goderich: Meet a local OPP Officer at the Goderich Library at 10:30 am for a story and learn about life as a police officer. Registration required
- Knitting Group in Bayfield: Join fellow knitters at the Bayfield Library from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm for a community-led knitting session. All are welcome.
- Lego Free Play in Goderich: Drop by the Goderich Library from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm for a fun, creative session with LEGO. No registration needed.
- Play & Connect EarlyON Program in Seaforth: Chat with an EarlyON Facilitator about parenting, child development, and community resources from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Register online at www.KEyON.ca.
- Card Night in Blyth: Enjoy an evening of cards at the Blyth Library from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Drop-in for free to play familiar games or learn new ones.
- Salsa Dancing for Beginners in Goderich: Learn basic salsa steps with your partner in five one-hour sessions starting at 6:30 pm. Register by emailing goderichlibrary@huroncounty.ca or calling 519-524-9261.
TOMORROW
- Junior Searcher Summer Day Camp – Runs from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at Camp Klahanie (33612 Blacks Point Road, Goderich, ON). Join HASAR for a four-day camp full of fun and learning, including survival skills from “Hug A Tree” and special guest speakers. Space is limited; registration required. Cost: $120 per child. - Play & Learn with EarlyON – Wingham @ 10:00 am to 11:30 am. A free program every Friday morning at the Alice Munro Branch for parents/caregivers with children aged 0-6. Participate in age-appropriate activities, discuss child development, and connect with EarlyON professionals and other families.
- Fire Hall Fridays – Clinton from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Visit the Central Huron Fire Hall for tours, see fire trucks up close, and learn about fire safety every Friday from July 12 to August 30, 2024.
- Virtual Reality Free Play – Goderich @ 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Book a session at the Goderich Branch to explore virtual worlds, play games like Beat Saber, or meditate in serene settings. Ages 13+; registration required. Contact the library by email at goderichlibrary@huroncounty.ca or call 519-524-9261. Participants under 16 need a signed waiver.
- Brussels Farmers’ Market – 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at 589 Turnberry Street (“Richmond Square”). Enjoy local vendors on select Fridays throughout the summer.
- Practically Petty and Fleetwood Max – 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm. Tickets: $39.50. Experience the ultimate tribute to Fleetwood Mac and Tom Petty with Fleetwood Max and Practically Petty. Enjoy classic hits like “Rhiannon,” “Go Your Own Way,” “American Girl,” and more.
