Huron County OPP officers and the Huron OPP Marine unit will be part of the Labour Day Weekend Traffic Campaign from August 30th to September 2nd. The focus will be on the “Big Four”: distracted driving, impaired driving, speeding, and not wearing seat belts.
Officers will be actively patrolling the roads to keep traffic safe and will also be ensuring that boaters are staying safe on the water.
Plan ahead, avoid driving under the influence, and stay alert on the road. Be mindful of others, including cyclists, farm vehicles, and people walking.
