- EarlyON – Seaforth @ 10:00 am – 11:30 am. Join us indoors at Northside United Church – 54 Goderich St. W, Seaforth Enter the parking lot off of Church Street. Watch for our EarlyON sign closest to the door that you’ll enter. If the door is locked, ring the doorbell to the upper right of the door. For Parents/Caregivers with children 0-6 years. Register to join us to connect with other families and EarlyON Facilitators, engage in play-based activities, sing interactive songs and chat about topics of interest to parents.
- Exeter Library Book Social @ 10:30 am – 11:30 am. Come meet “like-minded” readers to discuss what we are reading now including the book of the month! Join us at Exeter Branch for an informal meeting with branch staff and members who have read our Book of the Month for discussion. Reading the book is recommended but not required! This is a drop-in program no registration is necessary
- Mahjong – Bayfield @ 12:45 pm – 3:00 pm. Do you want to learn Mahjong or are you an experienced player? Drop in the first and third Wednesday of each month for a fun social afternoon at the Bayfield Branch. Please note this program is run by community volunteers.
- Knitting Group – Bayfield Branch @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Knit, relax and meet fellow knitters each week at the Bayfield Branch. All are welcome to drop into this free program to knit together and share tips and tricks. Please note this program is community-led.

Join us for a variety of activities to enhance all areas of your child’s development, connect with our staff and other families, and end the group with a circle time of songs and a story. Pre-registration on www.keyon.ca for Huron EarlyON programs is no longer required, yet still recommended. EarlyON programs will admit participants until capacity levels are reached. - Play & Learn with EarlyON – Wingham @ 10:00 am – 11:30 am. Join Huron EarlyON each Friday morning at the Alice Munro Branch for free programs designed for parents/caregivers and children from birth to six years old. Enjoy age-appropriate activities, discover answers to questions on child development, find information about programs and services that are available for young children and families in their area, and talk to EarlyON Professionals, as well as other parents and caregivers in the community. - Blyth Festival Theatre: Onion Skins & Peach Fuzz: The Farmerettes @ 10:30 am – 1:00 pm. Inspired by the book by Bonnie Sitter & Shirleyan English, Onion Skins and Peach Fuzz: Memories of the Ontario Farmerettes; this nostalgic play dramatizes the incredible stories of Canada’s Farmerettes; young women all over the country who left the big cities to work as farm labourers on Canadian farms as part of the war effort during WW2. Many of these young women learned a lot more than how to dig potatoes, pull carrots, and muck a stall; they learned essential truths about who they were, who they wanted to be, and what true and lasting friendships looked like. A play about coming of age as young women in a time of change.

- Virtual Reality Free Play – Goderich @ 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Discover the Huron County Library’s exciting new Virtual Reality headset by booking a session at the Goderich Branch today! Participants can dive into the action with games like Beat Saber, explore the globe through immersive travel experiences, enjoy a relaxing round of mini golf, meditate in serene virtual environments, and so much more! - Jokes and Quotes for the Fiftieth with Ted Johns @ 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm. Prolific Festival Playwright, Ted Johns, (The School Show, He Won’t Come in From the Barn, Garrison’s Garage ) is giving a special presentation for the 50th anniversary. Part history, part hilarity, Ted will be sharing his memories along with excerpts of his forthcoming memoir, detailing the early days of the Blyth Festival. From his earliest work as part of the original touring company of The Farm Show, through to the Festival’s founding, and its fledgling first seasons, Johns’ Jokes and Quotes for the 50th , captures the wit and wisdom of the iconic local writer.
- Tech Time – Wingham @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. The Alice Munro Branch, Wingham, hosts Tech Time each Friday afternoon. Book a 30-minute session to receive one-on-one help with library e-resources, your device, and/or your email account. Lessons are limited to the technical knowledge of library staff. Hardware issues or highly specific questions may require the assistance of qualified computer service technicians. Registration Required.
