A driver has been charged with impaired driving after a traffic stop in West Perth.
On August 30th around 9:10 p.m., a Perth County OPP officer stopped a vehicle on Wellington Street in Mitchell. The driver showed signs of impairment and was taken into custody.
A 47-year-old resident of Mitchell, has been charged with impaired driving involving alcohol and drugs, and with refusing to comply with a police demand.
The driver’s license has been suspended for 90 days, and her vehicle impounded for seven days, according to the law.
