A traffic complaint has led to alcohol-related charges for six youths from Huron County.
On September 6th Middlesex County OPP were called about a traffic issue on Richmond Street in Lucan Biddulph. A person reported seeing people throwing items out of a moving vehicle.
Police found the vehicle and pulled it over. During the search, officers found open alcohol. Five passengers, all 16 years old from Huron County, were charged for having liquor under the age of 19.
The 17-year-old driver from Blyth passed an alcohol test but was charged with having alcohol readily available in the vehicle.
The Middlesex OPP reminds the public to report any suspicious activity or impaired drivers to the OPP or the nearest police authority immediately
