Covid-19 didn’t go anywhere this summer….and a top medical official in our region says we should be ready for it to pop up in schools now.
Medical Officer of Health Dr. Joanne Kearon says Covid acts differently than other respiratory illnesses.
Dr. Joanne Kearon says Covid-19 continues to circulate and there are those tell tale signs.
Dr. Kearon says if kids or anyone else has a runny nose, sore throat, cough or fever …be sure to stay home…to prevent spread. She also says it’s not necessary to test for Covid unless you’re at high risk or are very ill and may need treatment.
