A fatal crash between an SUV and a mobility scooter has resulted in the death of a 91-year-old Goderich resident.
On Monday, September 16th around 10:30 a.m., the Huron County OPP, Huron County Paramedic Services, and the Goderich Fire Department responded to a 9-1-1 call about a collision at the intersection of Blake Street East and Gibbons Street in Goderich.
When they arrived, they found that the person on the electric mobility scooter was badly injured. The individual was taken by ambulance to a local hospital but was later pronounced dead.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
