Premier Doug Ford isn’t ruling out the possibility of calling an early election next year.
The province’s next fixed election date isn’t until June 2026, but Ford says he and his Progressive Conservative team must always be prepared.
He has given his party’s members of provincial parliament until December to decide if they will run again.
Ford left the door open to an early election when asked about one last spring, and opposition parties have spent the summer campaigning.
