The 8th Annual Harvesting Hope event, in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Huron, is coming up quick on September 27th at The Barn and Pub in Centralia.
Executive Director, Amy Wilhelm explains the event.
The evening will start with a cocktail hour at 5 p.m., followed by a buffet dinner at 6 p.m., along with a wide variety of other activities.
Although part of a national organization, the South Huron agency does not receive base funding from the national office and gets only limited government funding for specific programs. To cover 96.5% of its annual budget, it relies on grants, sponsorships, individual donations, its children’s consignment store, and events like Harvesting Hope.
For those looking to attend the event, Wilhelm told myFM all about the tickets people need in order to attend.
Your last chance to grab tickets is today.
Harvesting Hope aims to raise awareness about the mentoring programs offered by the organization, attract new volunteers, and gather crucial funds to support its work.
