Calling all Swifties! Thanks to the amazing Dr. Erin and Mike Heisz, United Way Perth-Huron (UWPH) is giving you a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see Taylor Swift live in Toronto on November 23rd!
Director of United Housing, Kathy Vassilakos told myFM about the tickets up for grabs.
The two concert tickets are seated on the floor in section C3, row 10, and come with the Karma is My Boyfriend VIP package. This includes four Taylor Swift prints, a VIP tote bag, pin, sticker and postcard set, souvenir concert ticket, and special VIP tour laminate with a matching lanyard.
Vassilakos says this draw would not be possible without two very special people.
United Way and United Housing also want to thank all the businesses in Perth-Huron selling raffle tickets. Tickets can be purchased at Blowes Stationery, Juno, Junction 56, and the United Centre in Stratford; BK Brand Name Clothing and Gifts and Bakelaar Jewellers in Listowel; Wuerth’s Shoes and All Around the House in Goderich; Wuerth’s Shoes in Exeter; Sun Rayz in St. Marys; Annette’s Treasures and I Want That Bag Consignment in Wingham; Blooms N’ Rooms in Seaforth; and Penny’s and the Pine Café and Bistro in Blyth.
Vassilakos says if you are planning on buying tickets for the raffle, there are some rules.
Tickets cost $10 each. The draw will happen on Wednesday, October 23, at Junction 56 Distillery in Stratford (45 Cambria Street) at 6:30 p.m. The winner will be contacted.
Many people in Perth-Huron are dealing with homelessness, escaping unsafe homes but unable to afford rent, or working in areas where they can’t afford to live. Some seniors are also forced to leave their homes but can’t afford the current rental market. Not only will you get to sing your heart out to all your favorite Taylor anthems, but by entering, you’re also supporting a very meaningful cause. The raffle will raise funds for United Housing (UH), the region’s first-ever non-profit focused on providing safe, affordable housing for people in need. So, you can be Fearless in knowing your ticket purchase is making a difference in your community!
Are you ready for it? Enter now and help UWPH shake off the housing crisis while making your Wildest Dreams come true!
