TODAY

  • Drop-in Quiet Study and Peer Support – Clinton @ 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. The Tanner Steffler Foundation is hosting drop-in quiet study and peer support every Tuesday from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm at the TSF office, located at 80 Mary St. Unit 3, Clinton.
  • Nintendo Switch Free Play – Goderich @ 10:30 am – 12:00 pm Come out for a morning of gaming at the Goderich Branch! Challenge your friends, or see if you can beat the high scores. This is a drop-in program – no registration required.
  • Baby & Me – EarlyOn Program – Seaforth @ 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm Seaforth Public Library (upstairs- elevator available)- 108 Main St. South. For Parents/Caregivers and infants 0-12 months of age. Join us to connect with other families and EarlyON Facilitators, sing interactive songs, and chat about topics of interest to parents with young infants. Anyone who is feeling sick or has any new or worsening symptoms of illness, should stay home until their symptoms are improving for at least 24 hours (or 48 hours for nausea, vomiting, and/or diarrhea).   • Play and Connect with EarlyON – Seaforth @ 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm. Chat with an Huron EarlyON Facilitator and ask questions about parenting, your child’s development, and learn about other resources in your community! REGUSTRATION: Register online through www.KEyON.ca
  • Drop-in Kids Chess Club – Exeter @ 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm Drop into the Exeter Branch on Tuesdays for our Chess Club! Whether you are a Grandmaster or just learning the game of kings, you are welcome! This is a drop-in program no registration is necessary

  • Library Board Meeting @ 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. Regular meeting of Huron County’s Library Board. Meeting starts at 9:00 AM. Council Chambers, Huron County Court House, 1 Courthouse Square, Goderich, ON.   • English Conversation Circle – Exeter @ 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm Join us at Exeter Branch for our English Conversation Circles. Conversation Circles are a great opportunity to practice English speaking skills and make new connections, while talking, listening, learning, and laughing about life in Canada. This program is provided in partnership with Huron County Immigration Partnership. This is a drop-in program – no registration is necessary.
  • Write On! Writer’s Club – Goderich @ 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm. Join fellow local authors and aspiring writers at the Goderich Branch to collaborate and create. This engaging session will transport you to a time of intrigue and adventure, revealing the darker side of the county’s past. Registration required.   • Libraries Transforming Communities: Community Conversations @ 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm As part of the Libraries Transforming Communities project, the Huron County Library is hosting Community Conversations this fall to focus on the Blyth community! All are welcome to drop into the Blyth Branch to join the conversation! Participants will share aspirations for their communities with the goal of creating communities for all.
