Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) is trying to find a dog involved in an incident that took place in Stratford on Monday, October 21, 2024, around 12:30 p.m. The incident happened on the sidewalk between Strachan Street and Home Street, on Brydges Street.
The dog is described as medium-sized, possibly a Chow Chow, and was with a man who has blonde hair. They were last seen walking toward McNab Street.
HPPH needs to confirm if the dog has its rabies vaccinations up to date. If anyone has information about this dog, they are asked to contact HPPH at 1-888-221-2133 ext. 3670. If it’s after hours or on the weekend, follow the prompts to reach their answering service.
It’s important to remember that if you’re ever involved in an incident with an animal, it’s a good idea to get the contact information of the owner to avoid future issues, like checking for up-to-date vaccinations
