A special car seat safety clinic is happening on Saturday, October 26th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Blyth Fire Hall. Certified child passenger safety technicians will be on hand to help parents and caregivers learn how to properly install their child’s car seat and adjust the straps for the best fit.
Diane Millian with Huron County Child Services explains the event.
This drop-in event is organized by Huron County EarlyON programs, Huron Perth Children’s Aid Society, and the Child Passenger Safety Association of Canada (CPSAC). Attendees are encouraged to bring both their car and car seat manuals to the clinic.
Volunteer Coordinator, Trish Harris says car seats are an important part of a Childs safety in vehicles.
The CPSAC, a national, non-profit organization founded in 2011, focuses on promoting child passenger safety through education, advocacy, and training.
This clinic offers a great opportunity to make sure your child is riding safely and securely. Don’t miss this chance to get expert advice on keeping your little ones safe on the road.
