This week, the London Police Service’s Emergency Response Unit (ERU) will finish its annual training with a special event. To keep up their essential skills, the team will take on the Halloween spirit by rappelling down the side of the Children’s Hospital at London Health Sciences Centre.
This event has special meaning for many ERU members, as some of them have children who were treated at this hospital. Officers will dress in costumes as they descend, creating a fun and uplifting sight for young patients and their families.
The event will take place on Thursday, October 31, at 9 a.m., outside the B Tower entrance of the Children’s Hospital at 800 Commissioners Road East in London.
