A new poll suggests roughly 70 per cent of Canadians will spend about the same amount of money as they did last year on Halloween.
The survey conducted by Leger and The Canadian Press which polled one-thousand-520 Canadian adults on their Halloween habits this month found that more than a quarter of overall respondents said they’ll spend 100-dollars or more.
The poll, which was conducted online from October 25th to October 27th with a margin of error no greater than 2.51 per cent, also suggests that Canadians will spend an average of 67.65 dollars on costumes, candy, decorations and other Halloween-related expenses.
For parents, this number rises to 121.57 dollars.
