On October 25th Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) started an investigation into several cases involving victims in the Huron County area. The investigation has led to multiple criminal charges against a 21-year-old resident of Goderich.
The charges include 12 counts of sexual assault, two counts of invitation to sexual touching, two counts of sexual interference, assault, forcible confinement, unlawfully being in a dwelling house, and luring a child under 18.
The accused is currently in custody and is expected to appear in court in Goderich, Ontario, at a later date. Investigators believe there may be more victims. Anyone with information about this ongoing investigation is asked to contact Huron County OPP.
