Huron County OPP has charged a 39-year-old Huron East resident with several offences after a traffic complaint in South Huron on November 24th.
Around 5:00 p.m., police received a report about a vehicle being driven dangerously on Hern Line. Officers found the vehicle and stopped it shortly after. They determined the driver was impaired and arrested them. The driver was taken to the Huron OPP detachment in Clinton, where breath tests showed alcohol levels over the legal limit.
a 39-year-old of Huron East, has been charged with impaired driving involving alcohol and drugs, operating with blood alcohol levels over the legal limit, and dangerous operation of a vehicle. He also faces additional charges under the Cannabis Control Act and Liquor Licence Control Act.
The vehicle was impounded for seven days, and the driver’s license was suspended for 90 days.
