Lambton County Library Expands Family History Resources with FamilySearch Partnership
Lambton County Library has become a FamilySearch Affiliate Library, offering patrons expanded access to exclusive genealogy resources. This designation allows library users to view 400 million additional digital images and records that are not available to standard FamilySearch users.
Patrons can access these resources by using public computers at any of Lambton County Library’s 25 locations or by connecting to the library’s public Wi-Fi with their personal devices.
This new partnership enhances the tools available for those researching family history. Whether you are just starting to explore your genealogy or are an experienced researcher, these additional records could help build your family tree or fill in missing details.
FamilySearch, the world’s largest genealogy organization, provides access to billions of records, including birth, marriage, death, census, land, and court records from over 130 countries. The organization’s resources include more than six billion searchable names and two billion historical images.
