The holiday season in Exeter is about to get brighter with the return of the Jolt Fitness Jingle Run. This festive fitness fundraiser, now in its fifth year, will take place on December 12th, and promises to bring the community together in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwestern Ontario.
Katie “Siggy” Siggertson, owner and head trainer at Jolt Fitness in Centralia, shared the details about the event.
The Ronald McDonald House provides essential services to families during challenging times, and Siggy emphasized its importance to small-town communities like Exeter.
Participants can register online and are encouraged to make a minimum donation of $15, although all contributions are welcome. Those unable to attend can still donate.
Thanks to generous support from the Exeter Lions Club, the event is already well on its way to reaching its fundraising goal according to Siggy.
The event kicks off at McNaughton Park’s scenic gardens at 5:30 p.m. Participants will be guided on their walk or run by Jolt trainers in a casual, inclusive atmosphere suitable for all fitness levels.
Festive attire is highly encouraged, with prizes for the best-dressed participants. Everyone will receive a treat bag, and the evening will wrap up with a holiday social at Crabby Joe’s.
With no registration cutoff, there’s still time to sign up and take part in the holiday fun. Don’t miss the chance to make this holiday season brighter for families in need while enjoying a magical night in Exeter.
