A tragic two-vehicle crash in Huron East has claimed the life of a 32-year-old Central Huron resident.
Huron County OPP, paramedics, and North Huron Fire Department responded to the scene of a collision on Blyth Road near Hensall Road around 1:35 p.m. on January 1st.
Emergency crews found a sport utility vehicle and a truck hauling a cattle trailer involved in the crash. Sadly, the truck’s driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the SUV was not hurt, and there were no passengers in either vehicle.
Several injured cattle had to be euthanized due to the severity of their injuries.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation. Anyone with information about this crash is asked to contact Huron County OPP.
