Huron County OPP has charged two people from Central Huron after a drug investigation. The investigation, which started in December 2024, involved the OPP Major Crime Unit, Huron-Perth Community Street Crimes Unit, and West Region Emergency Response Team.
On January 20, 2025, officers searched a home on Albert Street in Clinton, Central Huron. They found illegal drugs, including suspected cocaine and methamphetamine, worth about $17,200.
A 61-year-old from Central Huron, was charged with trafficking weapons, possessing cocaine for trafficking, and possessing methamphetamine for trafficking. A 27-year-old also from Central Huron, was charged with possessing methamphetamine for trafficking.
Both were released and will appear in court in Goderich on February 24th.
