On January 14th, 2025, Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated an incident involving intimate partners in Central Huron.
During the investigation, police learned that the suspect had allegedly committed several crimes against their partner. A 33-year-old from Waterloo was arrested and charged with spousal assault, criminal harassment for repeatedly communicating, criminal harassment for stalking and watching, and taking a motor vehicle without consent.
The suspect was processed and held for a bail hearing before being released. They are scheduled to appear in court in Goderich on February 24th, 2025.
