On January 28th, around 11:30 p.m., Lambton County OPP responded to a single-vehicle crash on Port Franks Estates Drive near Clayton Street in Port Franks.
Officers spoke with the driver and arrested them without any issues. After investigating, police charged a 17-year-old from Lambton Shores with driving while impaired by alcohol and drugs and driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit.
No one was hurt in the crash.
The driver’s license was suspended for 90 days, and their vehicle was impounded for seven days. The teen was released from custody and will appear in court in Sarnia at a later date. Their identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
