The South Huron Community Fund is now accepting applications for grants. This is a great chance to support local projects that strengthen and improve the community.
The South Huron Community Fund (SHCF) was created in 2020 and continues to grow with support from the South Huron Municipal Council, family funds, and individual donations. It provides small grants to organizations that run programs, events, and activities benefiting South Huron residents.
Grant guidelines and the online application form can be found here. The deadline for applications is April 1st.
In 2024, the SHCF provided $15,731 in funding to eight organizations and three scholarship programs. The funds supported a variety of initiatives, including conservation programs, community markets, skating bursaries, music festivals, and Indigenous tribute events.
