The Judith & Norman Alix Foundation is once again inviting applications for funding local capital projects in Lambton County. The deadline to apply is Thursday, May 1st, at 4 p.m., with successful projects announced later that month.
To qualify for funding, projects must be based in Lambton County. More details on eligibility can be found on The Foundation’s website at www.jnaf.ca under “Contribute an Idea.”
For over 30 years, The Foundation has provided more than $5 million to support community projects. Past initiatives include funding for Withdrawal Management Services at Bluewater Health, artificial turf installation at Norm Perry Park in Sarnia, the construction of the Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery, and renovations to the Brigden Fair Grounds and The Kineto Theatre. Other funded projects have included accessible infrastructure, recreational improvements, and educational enhancements such as a Simulated Intensive Care Unit at Lambton College.
The Foundation collaborates with local governments and community leaders to identify projects that can make a meaningful impact. Its goal remains the same: to improve the community and enhance the lives of Lambton County residents.
