Lisa Thompson has once again secured her seat as MPP for Huron-Bruce, continuing her tenure that began in 2011.
Following her re-election, Thompson expressed gratitude to the people of Huron-Bruce for their continued trust.
She promised to work just as hard in this term as she did in her first, highlighting her dedication to protecting jobs, supporting the local economy, and standing alongside Premier Doug Ford to ensure Ontario remains strong.
Thompson shared how inspiring it was to connect with voters throughout the campaign, from young volunteers to seniors in long-term care. She said their energy and stories were a motivating force, reinforcing her commitment to serving the community.
Looking ahead, Thompson says the government’s first priority will be tackling economic challenges, including potential trade threats from the U.S. under President Trump. She emphasized the importance of keeping Ontario’s economy strong, especially in key sectors like agriculture.
With another term ahead, Thompson is ready to continue working for the people of Huron-Bruce, focusing on growth, stability, and ensuring a bright future for the region. Lisa won with 50% of the vote with 87/87 polls reporting.
