The Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) event in Exeter was a big success, raising $75,623, far surpassing the original $50,000 goal. The fundraiser, organized by United Way Perth-Huron and the Southern Huron Community Committee, helps support local programs for people in need.
Donations are still open until March 31st at cnoy.org.
This years top fundraising teams were McCann Group, Exeter CRC, Grand Bend Winter Walkers, TR-E Huggers, and Walker’s Walkers (LMR).
Funds raised will support United Way Perth-Huron’s Southern Huron Connection Centre and the Huron Homelessness Initiative. These programs provide meals, showers, laundry, and shelter for people in need.
