Canada is facing tough times due to rising costs, the risk of new tariffs, and possible job losses. These problems are affecting communities in Perth-Huron, but United Way Perth-Huron (UWPH) is stepping in to help.
The organization is working with local social service and economic groups to support people struggling with food insecurity, mental health issues, and job-related challenges through its Urgent Needs Fund.
People who want to help don’t have to wait. UWPH’s current fundraising campaign is close to reaching its $2.6 million goal, with three weeks left to donate. Right now, the campaign is at about 80% of the target.
Donations will go toward helping those already in need and others who may need support in the future. Contributions are accepted until the end of March.
