A police investigation has led to the arrest of two South Huron residents and the seizure of illegal drugs worth nearly $16,000.
Officers from multiple Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) units began investigating in January 2025, focusing on locations in South Huron. On February 21, 2025, search warrants were carried out on Main Street and McConnell Street in Exeter.
During the searches, police seized suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine, along with other items related to drug trafficking. The total estimated value of the drugs is $15,990, and officers also confiscated cash and other property worth $3,250.
A 32 year old and 38 year old have been charged.
