A charity hockey tournament is coming to Exeter, raising money for the Huron County Food Bank Distribution Centre. Executive Director of the food bank, Mary Ellen Zeilman has the details.
The event will take place at the South Huron Recreation Centre, with the first game starting at 5 p.m. Zeilman says the community’s generosity makes a big difference.
The tournament will feature two hockey games, and everyone is encouraged to come out and cheer for their favorite team.
The Huron County Food Bank Distribution Centre plays a vital role in the community. It supplies food banks, aid agencies, and schools with fresh and nutritious items like milk, eggs, meat, and produce.
