The Huron Chamber of Commerce and United Way Perth-Huron (UWPH) are inviting the public to Election Connections, a non-partisan event where voters can meet Huron-Bruce candidates for the upcoming federal election. The event will take place on Wednesday, April 23rd, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Clinton Town Hall Auditorium.
Unlike traditional debates, this forum will focus on small group discussions, allowing voters to speak directly with candidates about key issues.
Volunteers will help guide the discussions, and participants will have a chance to share their thoughts on the topics that matter most to them and their community. In preparation, an online session will be available the week before the event to help attendees understand the federal government’s role, learn how to have productive discussions, and choose the topics for conversation.
Community members can register online at huronchamber.ca/election-connections or contact Will Wellington at 519-271-7730 for more information.
