Police have arrested a Central Huron resident following an investigation into a case involving intimate partners.
On April 12th, members of the Huron County OPP looked into a complaint in the Municipality of Central Huron. During their investigation, officers found out that the suspect had allegedly committed crimes against their partner during 2024 and 2025.
A 31-year-old individual from Central Huron was arrested and charged with assault involving a spouse, mischief related to a domestic incident, and two counts of failing to comply with an earlier court order.
The accused was processed and held for a bail hearing. They were later kept in custody, and a court date was set at the Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich.
