McHappy Day is back, and Rob Reid, owner of McDonald’s in Exeter, is inviting the community to join in on the annual fundraiser happening today!
All the money raised from the McDonald’s restaurants in the area will go directly to the Ronald McDonald House in London. The organization provides a place to stay for families with sick children receiving medical care away from home.
Reid explained that the need is growing.
On McHappy Day, a portion of every item sold will be donated to Ronald McDonald House. Customers can also choose to round up their order to add a little extra to the cause.
Last year, McDonald’s locations across Canada raised $8.9 million. This year, the goal surpass that.
McHappy Day is more than just a fundraiser, it’s a chance for the community to come together and support families during some of their hardest moments.
